How to Write an RFQ for Mold-Resistant Cloth Tape and Approve a Sample
A buyer's checklist for mold-resistant cloth tape on harnesses: what to put in the RFQ, which documents to ask for and how to validate a packed harness.
Short answer: treat “mold-resistant” as a requirement with a method behind it, not as a product label. Write the method and edition into the RFQ, ask the supplier which report covers the exact model, and approve the tape on your own packed harness. For K75110-00, supplied by EJOY and made by Anhui Yijiayi, the test method can be agreed per project requirement; no test report for the model is published on this site and we do not state that it has passed any of the methods below.
What to put in the RFQ

Documents to ask for before you rely on a grade
- The test report for the exact model and revision, with the laboratory, method, edition, date and rating.
- The current datasheet for the model. For K75110-00 it is not published on this site yet; request it with the sample.
- The manufacturing site’s IATF 16949 certificate, which supports the quality system within its scope and is not evidence of any test result.
- The change-notification rule: what is notified if the backing, adhesive or finish changes.
Approve it on your own harness
- Wrap a representative harness or hose assembly with the sample tape.
- Pack it as in production and hold it at the humidity, temperature and duration of your storage or sea-freight profile.
- Inspect against a written criterion and keep the result with the lot record.
- Repeat on the trial lot before the first production release.
