Sourcing harness tape is a specification problem before it is a price problem — most quotes that look cheap are answering a different question from the one your drawing asks.
Buyers comparing harness tape usually receive three quotes written against three different assumptions: one supplier prices a PET cloth grade, another a fleece, the third quotes whatever is in stock. The prices are not comparable because the products are not comparable. What makes them comparable is naming the temperature the loom actually sees, the abrasion class the drawing calls for, the cable jacket the adhesive has to hold, and whether the line applies the tape by hand or by machine.

Standards: Grades are made to the LV 312 temperature classes. The class, the OEM specification it is qualified against and the REACH / RoHS declaration are confirmed per model — ask for the report and the declaration's revision date and scope.
Where this grade sits in LV 312: Because these tapes sit on all three axes, a request for quotation that names only one axis comes back in a form you cannot line up against another supplier. Give the temperature class, the abrasion class together with its mandrel diameter, and whether damping is required at a named contact point. Then compare those three answers rather than the roll price.

Without them suppliers price different products and the cheapest quote is usually the one that answered the easiest question.
