Orange is a safety convention, not a specification — the tape under the colour still has to meet the temperature, flame and abrasion requirements of a high-voltage route.
High-voltage harnesses are wrapped in orange so that anyone opening the vehicle recognises them instantly. The colour is the easy part. What decides the grade is the battery or motor zone's temperature, whether the drawing calls for a flame classification, and how much abrasion the route sees — plus, increasingly, whether a halogen-free declaration is required.
EJOY confirms those requirements against the drawing, states the evidence that exists for the quoted grade, and ships samples. Our UL Recognized Component file E544340 covers tape type Z1V020 under UL 510A and is not a blanket statement about every orange grade.

Standards: Orange is the high-voltage identification colour; that is a marking practice, not a performance rating. RoHS / REACH declarations are issued per model with their revision date and covered scope.
Where this grade sits in LV 312: Write the colour and the measured requirements as separate lines. Orange is a marking practice; the temperature class, the abrasion class and any flame clause each need their own line and their own answer.
Reading this table: each row is the range available across the constructions on this page, not a set of values that coexist in one roll. Backing, adhesive, temperature class and width are fixed together per model, so ask us to confirm one construction rather than combining rows.
The colour itself carries no requirement — the drawing does. High-voltage zones commonly call for a flame classification and often halogen-free, but you must name the standard and edition; we then say which grade has matching evidence.
Orange for high voltage is a widely used convention, but the exact shade is not automatically identical between makers. If your OEM specifies a colour reference, send it with the RFQ and we confirm whether we can match it.
File E544340 (certificate UL-US-2552528-0, category OARC2) covers tape type Z1V020 under ANSI/CAN/UL 510A. It is not evidence for other models and it is not a UL 94 V-0 classification.
