Noise complaints are expensive out of proportion to the material that causes them. A loom that buzzes against a bracket or a trim panel reaches the customer, not the inspector, and the cost is diagnosis, strip-down and rework rather than tape. That is why fleece grades are chosen on damping behaviour, conformability and how the wrap survives heat cycling — not on peel strength.

Standards: Fogging and odour are tested per model against the method your specification names — DIN 75201, VDA 270 or VDA 278 — and the report is issued for that model, not for the whole range. LV 312 class confirmed per model.
Where this grade sits in LV 312: Ask for the damping evidence and the temperature class as two separate answers, and say where the contact point is. A fleece grade is bought for quiet, so a quote that answers only on temperature has not answered the question you asked.

Usually heat cycling: the adhesive relaxes, the overlap opens slightly and the bundle gains freedom to move. Condition the trial parts through your own thermal cycle before judging the result.
