“Oil resistant” describes nothing until you name the fluid, the temperature and how the tape meets it.
Engine oil at 80 °C with occasional splash, ATF at 120 °C by immersion and hydraulic mist in a machine-tool enclosure are three different requirements. A grade that handles one can fail another, and the failure shows up weeks later as a lifted edge rather than on day one.

No. Resistance is always to a named fluid at a stated temperature, contact mode and duration. Ask for those four alongside any claim — including ours.
That is a different and much harder requirement than surviving oil after bonding, and it is the most common mis-specification on this product. Say which case applies in the RFQ.

Use it as a screening step. It reproduces neither the thermal cycle, the vibration nor the wrap geometry — qualify on representative parts with your own fluid.
